...there must also be time enough to allow for muscle growth. At least a day's worth. Unless training all major muscle groups in one session, otherwise intense workout every other day, with the following day for legs.
However, if the muscle is still sore, it has not yet finished growing. It is best to allow the fibers to finish the building process. This will allow the muscle to grow, veritably bloom to full potential, whereas to implement another workout too soon will tighten the strands and actually appear smaller overall. The Strength is the same. These primary considerations are for visual aesthetics & symmetrical appearance, the characteristics should be kept in mind. Keep in mind that the accumulated mass gain is still there, just compacted. ∞
