Halloween LII

Halloween is the time of year when the spotlight is set upon us, while the herd seek to poorly imitate or attempt to delve into their dark sides and fetishes to express themselves and reveal those secrets lain hidden in their subconcious shadow selves the rest of the year long, while Satanists retain this balance perpetually, and develop both towards ever increasing strength. So we traditionally gather to celebrate ourselves, goals, accomplishments, cherished ones, and comrades in arms.

As Dark Forces accumulate, we access these powers and are at one. Incarnations of Satan in all guises and dimensions. As Hallows Gates of Hell are parted, every bit of candy is a Communion with The Devil, enjoyed in pure indulgence, and every costume worn is a reflection of The Abyss. Spells cast upon previous Sabbath nights come to fruition, others empowered, and new materializations are cast to be, savored upon impending Sabbaths to come.

Let us celebrate in debaucheries sublime! With all those we so choose to share the pleasures of the flesh! Tricks and Treats according to those who deserve it! Receive The Goblet of Samhain's tide, and be filled with the spirit of Halloween!

Shemhamforash! Hail Lust! Hail Halloween! Hail Satan!

So after the draclings have been put to bed, and trick or treat treasures have been enjoyed, the real "monsters" come out to play...

For those who have a special affinity for the Halloween season and all that it represents, the fun, fear, mystery, and Magic, is presented this recommended rite to further solemnify that unique union. As the leaves turn to autumn hues upon skeletal trees, shades of the flames of Hell, and the air cools to caress the flesh, so the enchantment unfurls with the nefarious faces of all manner of spook and things that go "bump in the night". Perhaps one of the reasons why Satanists are so delighted by this sinister season is that we indeed *are* those things that haunt the night in natural consistence.

If so inclined, the primary horror-oriented archetypes used in this ceremony are that of the vampire, the werewolf, the "zombie", & the sea creature, according to their hellemental designations. Note: Frankenstein & The Mummy can be classified into the "zombie" category, although The Mummy could be used to refer to a death-like equivalent.

I Am sure you will find this rite to be appropriately stimulating, and when performed with sufficient emotional intensity, very rewarding. It serves to focus the mind towards pinpointing goals in this particular evocative aesthetic, providing a psychodrama quite unlike what has been previously experienced. Concluding the rite, you may wish to then partake in any sort of celebration desired, with a masquerade ball as a suggestion, multimedia entertainment, 'haunted house' events, etc., with an increased sense of perspective on this most beloved holiday.

Suspend disbelief, if just for a time, and enter into Hallow's Gate! ∞

Satanic Rite of Hallow's

  • Decorate Altar as appropriate, which may be a few autumnal leaves, or pumpkin lights framing the altar. Gather about remnants of the harvest - food, drink, possessions, decorations.
  • Place Jack O' Lantern beneath The Baphomet. After lighting, keep lit until it extinguishes itself.
  • Prepare Hallow Wish, and/or seasonal greeting to be immolated when appropriate upon the Jack O' Lantern's flame. For example, see Seasons In Hell.
  • Elixer may be pumpkin spice eggnog {with a splash of absinthe, lit in a black shot glass as representative of The Black Flame, blown and poured into the elixer}, or some other fall-themed philtre.
  • Primary coloration should be orange & black. Costumes may be worn to fanciful accommodation.
  • The use of a fog machine pulsating at intervals, as well as during the parting of Hallow's Gate.
  • Lighting may feature colored variations, with a recommendation towards blacklight, red, and green.
  • Incense should be of a confectionery evocation relative to the holiday.
  • Music should be of a Halloween countenance, preferably with a concentration on pipe organ, inclusive of sound effects.* Layering is recommended, playing the sound effect lowly in the background while the primary orchestration overlaps.
  • Follow the structure of ritual as outlined in The Satanic Bible.
  • For additional litany, use in conjunction with The Sabbath Rite in Dracomeroth, and/or necromantic indications therein. Rite of The Vampires & Ceremony of The Werewolves may also be integrated.
  • Optional location: Besides one's Ritual Chamber, and otherwise if an outdoor placement is desired, either a tombstone or tree stump is suitable, even a coffin if preferable, preferably on one's own property; trespassing is not recommended. Reserve a place for a fire pit.
  • Option for The Four Crown Princes of Hell: After the Infernal Names are called, enunciate 'The Four Crown Kings of Helloween' - Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Creature From The Black Abyss, The Mummy.

{Concluding the Invocation To Satan & The Calling of The Infernal Names, begin:}

Hallow's Gate opens wide as thunder strikes! The fog rolls, the bells toll! The flutters of black wings and the howling of wolves herald the nightmare brothers and sisters to appear on this All Hallow's Evil...

Thou goblins, ghouls, vampires, werewolves, ghosts and devils, trolls and banshees, zombies & fiends of the night and legend's thrall, come one, come all! Ride thee on hallow winds and lurch forth from graves and lairs in earth and tree, from mountaintops and ocean grottoes great and small!

{If so inclined, ask for a "sign"; in the 'presence' of all the specters of the night, present the Chalice before Baphomet and say}

I drink of this Belialian brew, stirred in the Stygian cauldron by Witch's hand, in fellowship with my demonic brethren, to receive the harvest of this horn of plenty.

{Option: Congregants line up before Altar to partake of The Chalice of Ecstasy, which may also include a select small candied treat, prefacing acceptance with "Trick Or Treat". Drink/Eat.}
"The spirit of Halloween is within Me!"

{Gong strike, "Shemhamforash! Hail Samhain! Hail Satan!"; The following to be said before the reading of the parchment}:

I call thee forth from Hallow's Gate, dread Dark Lord of The Harvest & thorny woods! Mighty Satan-Belial, thy season is nigh! Come, reap the rewards of the harvest with thine scythe! What has been planted within The Black Earth, and in the ethers has come to be! By thy many fearsome visages, Samhain manifest in terrible splendor, arise from the ebon Pit of nightmare fane to revel in the Magic and pleasures spilling forth from the cornucopia of ecstasy!

{Read desire/proclamation/declaration/message. If a gathering, call forth those to come forth & partake in Trick Or Treat Blessings from Hell}

Trick Or Treat - By the Jack O' Lantern's flame, lighting the way to Hell, on this Hallow's Night, grant Me/Us Thy favor, by this boon I/We so desire, lit aflame upon this pyre! That by this hour upon the next harvest, all shall come to be as I will!

{Ignite the parchment upon the Hallow flame exclaiming:}

I thank thee for this harvest! Shemhamforash! Hail Samhain! Belial! Hail Satan!

{Conclude rite as customary. Now partake in all manner of revelry desired until dawn}.

Fun with Urban Legends

Traditionally, Halloween observances were the harvest, as well as spent in precognitive games. Bobbing for apples for instance, to see who will marry next, spinning wheel activities, reading spooky stories, "Bloody Mary", "Light As A Feather, Stiff As A Board", etc. So if so inclined, emerge the Ouija Board, tarot cards, runes, a crystal ball {or skull}, "scrying", etc., if just for this night, various Halloween games, etc., whether experimental or just for fun, and have a wickedly good time.

Would also be a good opportunity to venture forth to various reputed "haunted" & infamous locations {gravity hills, darkened canyons, graveyards, and so forth, keeping in mind caution and legal considerations}. I have a feeling that as a result of the rite performed, things should become a lot more interesting than usual.

Have a truly Diabolical Helloween!
